Delivery by Global Nursing Leadership Academy
Health care is delivered by complex systems often involving large numbers of individuals and organisations. The effective health care professionals need to understand these pathways and systems of care to function effectively, and must be comfortable working both within, and with, these systems for the benefit of their patients. Just as leadership is argued to be necessary 'at all levels', so 'leadership development', assessment and feedback must be provided throughout the education and training of health professionals.
Effective clinical leadership is important in ensuring a high quality health care system that consistently provides safe and efficient care.
This course reviews the process of healthcare system and explains strategies to overcome obstacles. It helps guide the health professionals to analyze team work and assess human resource challenges. This aims to inspire and encourage health professionals to be the future of leadership and management in healthcare.
